Shipping Info and Terms of Service

Important: All wine deliveries require an adult signature from someone 21 years of age or older. If delivery is missed after three attempts, a reshipping fee will apply.

Please review our shipping policies carefully, including information about timeframes, weather-related risks, and shipping costs. To ensure a smooth delivery, we strongly recommend shipping to a business address whenever possible.

Wine Club Shipments

Wine club shipments are sent out twice a year, in the Spring and Fall. Members will receive a notification email at least one week before the scheduled shipping date.
All wine selections or shipment changes must be made before the order is processed. If you need to update your selections or skip a shipment, please do so before we begin processing.
Once an order is processed but not yet shipped, it may be canceled for a 5% restocking fee. If the order has already shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation or refund.
To avoid missing important updates, please make sure your membership email is current.

Summer Shipping Policy

To protect your wines during hot weather, we monitor temperatures closely and may delay shipments when the forecast consistently exceeds 85°F.
For some states, shipping may be paused until cooler conditions arrive, usually in September or October.
If you prefer to have your wine shipped during hot weather, you may request it, but Vina Cattunar is not responsible for any damage caused by extreme temperatures during transit.

We strongly recommend adding ice packs to orders shipped in the summer. We suggest using one ice pack for every six bottles, and two ice packs for any order of twelve bottles or more.
For shipments outside our 1–2 day transit zone, we also recommend upgrading to two-day shipping. These precautions help reduce the risk of heat damage but cannot guarantee that wines will arrive in perfect condition.

Standard Shipping Policy

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Our standard method of shipping is Ground service. During the summer, expedited shipping options will be available.
An adult 21 years or older must sign for all deliveries.
We currently cannot ship to the following states: Hawaii, Alaska, Alabama, Mississippi, and Utah.

Delivery Time Estimates

All orders are shipped from our fulfillment center in Illinois.
The map below provides an estimate of transit times once your order leaves our warehouse:

Customers located in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and nearby areas typically receive shipments within 1 business day.
Most Midwest, Southeast, and East Coast states will receive shipments within 2 to 4 business days.
Shipments to the West Coast, Mountain States, and Northeast usually arrive within 4 to 6 business days.
Remote areas, including Alaska, may experience transit times longer than 7 days.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or peak seasons.

Missed Delivery Attempts

UPS and FedEx will attempt delivery three times. If a shipment is not successfully delivered after three attempts, the order will be returned to our fulfillment center.
Returned orders are subject to both a restocking fee and reshipping charges.
We are not responsible for any lost or damaged orders resulting from missed delivery attempts.

If an order is returned due to a missed delivery, an invoice for the reshipping fee will be sent to you and must be paid before the order can be reshipped. Reshipping costs are based on the number of bottles:

Damaged Items

If your wine arrives damaged or broken, please contact us at shop@vinacattunar.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Age of Consent

By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age.
By placing an order, you affirm that the recipient of the shipment will also be at least 21 years old and available to sign for the delivery.

SMS Privacy Policy

At Vina Cattunar, we are committed to protecting your privacy.
When you sign up for SMS notifications, we may collect personal information such as your name, phone number, and order details. This information is used to send you real-time updates, promotional offers, and important service messages.

We do not sell or share your personal information, except with trusted partners who help us operate our SMS service under strict confidentiality agreements.

You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying "STOP" to any of our messages. If you wish to update your personal information, please contact us at shop@vinacattunar.com.

We may occasionally update this policy and will post any changes on our website.
